Hera the Goddess
The Greek Goddess Hera was known as the goddess of marriage and of women.
She was married to the head god Zeus and was known as the queen of Olympus. She was also the sister of Zeus.
Her Roman name, Juno and her Greek name Hera both mean Goddess of marriage and of women.
She disliked the great hero Hercules who was her half son.When he was little Hera put snakes in his crib out of jelousy of how great and mighty Hercules was.Yet he survived the many different snakes.
She could take on many different shapes such as a bird.
Some people think of Hera as an evil goddess, because of the incident with Hercules and other because she may have started the Trojan War, but she meant well.
Hera was most know for her power of marrige and beauty.
